Boolean Data Type

In Python, a boolean is a data type used to represent true and false values. It is particularly useful for expressing conditions and making decisions in your code. Booleans are often encountered when working with comparison operators and conditional statements.

In the above examples:

  • is_connected is a boolean variable set to True, indicating a successful connection.
  • has_money is a boolean variable set to False, indicating the absence of money in the bank account.
  • result is a boolean variable resulting from the comparison 10 > 5, which evaluates to True.

True and False as Constants​

It's important to note that True and False are actually constants representing the integers 1 and 0, respectively. This allows for some interesting operations.
